Wisconsin Football Recruiting Headlines
2027 3⭐ OL Ethan McIntosh (Verona Area) committed to Wisconsin to live out a childhood dream, he told me. McIntosh was the Badgers’ first 2027 commitment and is the son of Wisconsin’s former athletic director Chris McIntosh, who left for a position with the Big Ten this spring.
“Being a Badger has been a huge dream of mine ever since I was little. To represent my community and family in the red jersey is a feeling I cannot wait to experience. Seeing this in-state class come together and see Coach Fickell’s vision with the program is really something cool to watch. These fellas are hungry, dedicated and ready to put the world on notice.”
2028 3⭐ TE Jake Mau (Kimberly) will visit Wisconsin this weekend, he told me. He traveled to Indiana, USF and North Dakota State the past three weeks and holds seven Division I offers. Mau will visit Minnesota on Nov. 7 and Notre Dame on Nov. 14 with unscheduled trips to Toledo and South Dakota State.
2027 4⭐ OL Cole Reiter (Germantown) committed to Wisconsin over Penn State and Kansas, his mom told me. He also took trips to Ohio State and Indiana before making a decision. After taking his campus visits around the country, Reiter still preferred what he saw from Wisconsin and joined the Badgers’ in-state class.
“He has been a Badger fan since he was a young boy, and this state is his home. There is a strong bond between the 2027 recruiting class, and they all believe in the program and want to be part of what is being built.”
2027 Recruits Notebook
Wisconsin 4⭐ TE commit Korz Loken (Iola-Scandinavia) will attend every Badgers’ home game this fall, he told me. He attended the first two matchups of the season and will be back this weekend. Loken may also get some road games and committed to Wisconsin in January over Notre Dame, Florida State and Indiana. He plans to enroll early and is not responding to other schools interested in flipping him.
